Terms and conditions for booking a stay/experience at Varra Aps:

  1. Reservation and Payment: a. The reservation must be made online on the official website or through an authorized agent. b. Payment must be made online via a secure payment gateway or bank transfer within the specified deadlines. c. Prices may be subject to change without notice, but payment will be charged at the price that was in effect at the time of the reservation.

  2. Cancellation Policy: a. If cancelled up to 30 days before arrival, no fee will be charged. b. If cancelled between 15 and 29 days before arrival, a fee equal to 50% of the total booking price will be charged. c. If cancelled less than 15 days before arrival, a fee equal to 100% of the total booking price will be charged. d. In the event of cancellation due to force majeure, no fee will be charged, but documentation may be required.

  3. Accommodation: a. The boat will be prepared for guests before arrival and will be in good condition and clean. b. Any damage to the boat or its contents will be charged to the guests. c. The number of guests must not exceed the maximum number specified on the website or agreed upon at the time of reservation.

  4. Liability and Insurance: a. Guests are responsible for their own well-being and safety while staying on the boat. b. Guests are recommended to have travel insurance that covers any damage to the boat or personal injury during their stay.

  5. Cookies and Data When you use a website, information about you and your behavior can be stored through cookies and other tracking technologies. This information can be used to improve the user experience and deliver more relevant ads to you.

  6. Measures against unacceptable behavior. We have the right to prevent you from making further bookings, to cancel the bookings you have already made, and/or to prevent you from using our platform, our customer service and/or your account. We will of course only do this if, in our opinion, there is a good reason for it - for example, due to: A. Fraud or abuse B. Failure to comply with the rules of conduct or applicable laws or regulations C. Inappropriate or illegal behavior (such as violence, threats or violation of privacy) towards us, the companies we work with - or anyone else for that matter.

    As a result, we may cancel a booking, and you will not be entitled to a refund. We may tell you why we cancelled your booking, unless (a) this is contrary to applicable law and/or (b) it prevents or hinders the investigation or prevention of fraud or other illegal activities. If you believe that we have cancelled your booking on a mistaken basis, you can contact our customer service.

  7. Booking a sailing trip: If you wish to book a sailing trip or to move the boat to another harbor, we will do our best to accommodate this request through written or verbal communication. However, we prioritize the safety of all passengers and reserve the right to cancel a sailing trip in the event of: A. Strong winds over 8 m/s or from an unfavorable direction. B. The skipper is suddenly taken ill or is otherwise unable to safely operate the vessel. C. Any other unforeseen circumstances that make it unsafe to sail the vessel, such as engine problems or issues with navigation equipment. In the event that the trip has been paid for, Varra Aps will provide a full refund of the amount paid. If points A, B, or C occur during the sailing trip, the guest will be refunded an amount corresponding to the missed distance and time of the trip.

  8. In the event of force majeure (e.g. outbreak of war, extreme weather conditions, or sudden restrictive measures imposed by various authorities), Varra Aps may be forced to cancel the booking. However, we will do everything in our power to avoid this beforehand. A. In the event that the trip/stay has been paid for, Varra Aps will provide a full refund of the amount paid. If force majeure occurs during the stay, the guest will be refunded an amount corresponding to the missed time of the stay.

  9. Governing Law and Disputes: a. These terms and conditions are subject to Danish law. b. Any disputes will be settled by a Danish court.
